Cherise Wynne,
President

Compass

Cherise is a former chemist-now-realtor with Compass, and is known in the real estate industry as "Agent Lady." Cherise provides home buying and selling services all across Philadelphia; however, her focus is working with first-time home buyers in Center City and surrounding areas. Cherise's passion for real estate goes far beyond just closing deals, and is shown by becoming a personal resource to all her clients. Cherise received a Bachelors degree in Chemistry at West Chester University and became a licensed realtor after attending Temple Real Estate School. Cherise was awarded a Who's Next, 40 Under 40 Award by Billy Penn in 2018.

 

Hannah Molitoris,
Organizational Continuity Chair & Secretary

Morgan & Morgan

Hannah Molitoris is an attorney at Morgan and Morgan in Philadelphia. Being raised by a strong woman, Hannah learned at a young age the importance of women supporting and empowering other women from her mother. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Hannah worked as a public defender representing clients in misdemeanor and felony cases. Hannah graduated cum laude from Susquehanna University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications. She was a member of the Order of Omega Leadership Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta Political Science Honor Society, and received Departmental Honors in Political Science. In 2016, she received her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University. During law school, Hannah was a member of the Student Bar Association, mock trial team, moot court team, and participated in the criminal law clinic. She volunteered with the Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity and M.E.N.T.O.R. program. Hannah competed nationally in both mock trial and moot court competitions. As a member of the mock trial team, she was a regional champion in the Texas Young Lawyers National Trial Competition and a quarterfinalist in the Buffalo Niagara Trial Competition. Currently, Hannah coaches a mock trial team at the Kline School of Law.

Lindsay Patton-Carson 

Chair, Communications

Lindsay Patton-Carson is a communications professional who specializes in content management, social media, writing and editing. A journalism graduate from Grand Valley State University, Lindsay worked at Revue magazine, an publication covering West Michigan entertainment from 2008-2015, becoming Revue's managing editor in 2010. Lindsay also has experience reporting on business (specifically the nonprofit sector), feminism, animal rights and lifestyle beats. In 2016, Lindsay became the content director at eightthirtyfour, a Grand Rapids-based marketing firm. With a diverse clientele and a new skill set challenge, Lindsay fell in love with social media and content management. She followed that love to Philadelphia in 2017, where she was hired as the Vice President of Customer Engagement at PiperWai Natural Deodorant. In this role, Lindsay manages everything the customer sees, the bulk of it being the company's content and marketing strategies. Lindsay also has a robust freelance career with pieces published in Huffpo, Bust, Girlboss, Philly Voice, One Green Planet and more. In her free time, she manages social media for Miles for Migraine and Animal Avengers, two organizations with missions close to her heart. 

Gretchen Frank

Board Member At Large

Loews Philadelphia 

Gretchen is the Business Travel Sales Manager for the Loews Philadelphia hotel.  She is responsible for the Good Neighbor Program that offers discounts and special rates to local residents and businesses at the 581-room property. Prior to this role, she served in a dual role as Business Travel Sales Manager and Catering Sales Manager for the Doubletree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport. She has received accolades from her clients for creating memorable experiences with flawless execution. Gretchen also serves as a Board Member for the Midtown Village Association. A graduate of the University of New Haven in Connecticut, she is also a licensed esthetician and spends her free time volunteering for various non-profit organizations such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Philabundance, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Candy’s Place, a center for cancer awareness.  Participating in the Eagles Autism Challenge, Gretchen has already surpassed her fundraising goal and contributions will go to CHOP, Drexel, Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health Research programs around Autism. 

Mara Smith

Vice President

Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP

Mara, a South Jersey native, is a 2017 graduate from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University, where she completed a Health Law concentration. During law school, Mara worked for Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in both their Office of General Counsel and their Office of University Counsel where she specialized in HIPAA-related compliance work. When she isn't writing for Philly.com's Health Cents blog, Mara takes an active role in the Philadelphia Jesuit Community through the regional program Contemplative Leaders in Action, and through active involvement with her alma mater, The University of Scranton, where she majored in International Business and completed minors in Spanish and Philosophy. Following undergrad, Mara completed a year of service through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in San Francisco before returning to the East Coast to earn her law degree. In September 2017, Mara will join the law firm Montgomery, McCracken, Walker and Rhoads, LLP in their Philadelphia office. She was awarded a 30 Under 30 Award by South Jersey Millennials in 2018.


Raquel Assaye, Treasurer

Mazzoni Center

Racquel Assaye has over twenty three years of experience in the accounting and auditing field. She currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and a member of Interim Leadership at the Mazzoni Center.   She is team oriented and recognizes that the successes in her role are in large part due to the efforts of each of her team members and is not shy in her appreciation of them. Of the twenty three years spent in the accounting sector, sixteen were spent in the nonprofit environment. While there is opportunity for greater earnings in the for profit environment, she enjoys marrying her passion for numbers with her heart for service to marginalized communities, such as those being served by the Center.   Racquel teaches budgeting to anyone who would listen. Her vision is financial independence for all regardless of their pay scale. She has had the satisfaction of seeing lives changed as people’s financial circumstances change just by employing budgeting tools. Growing up with little resources in South America ignited this passion within her as a means to escape her circumstances. She holds a B.S. in Business Education/Business Administration from Andrews University and a M.S. in Accounting from Drexel University. She also successfully completed the four parts of the CPA exams.

Maria Matysik

Curalate

Maria Matysik is a marketing and sales professional in the technology industry with a focus in social media and digital. In her current role at Curalate Inc., a local Philadelphia tech start-up, she connects with prospects and clients at some of the world's most beloved brands to provide technology that powers their marketing, e-Commerce and social strategy. Outside of the tech space, Maria has a passion for events, PR and content marketing and has worked for a variety of companies and across industries from nonprofit to fashion. Maria received a Bachelors degree in Marketing with a minor in Advertising at the University of Delaware in 2017.

Dawn Bundick,

Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia

Dawn Bundick has over 25 years of Customer Service and Hospitality experience and is a founding member of Party Partners of Philadelphia. She began her career in 1988 at Strawbridge & Clothier and transitioned to hospitality in 2000 when she assumed the role of Sales & Marketing Manager for Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) Philadelphia.  In 2014 she was promoted to Senior Sales & Marketing Manager and Regional Support for the North America East Cafes. In her time with HRC, she has been integral in marketing the Cafe to conventioneers, visitors, and locals by spreading the spirit of Rock n’ Roll and creating authentic experiences that rock! Dawn handles events and events for the cafĂ© ranging from 50 to 700 people.

Kira Cappello

Temple University

Kira is currently a Public Relations student at Temple University, and has been interning with PWR since March, 2019. She lives in Philadelphia and works as a barista in the area. Kira’s passions in the industry include strategic public relations, social media, events planning, and interpersonal communications on the whole. She is excited to be entering the professional world of women with the values of PWR as the forefront of her experiences.
