Join PWR for a panel discussion with eight women who are experts in personal branding. Learn strategies for building and sharing your own brand, whether you are positioning yourself for growth within your current role, seeking a new opportunity or launching a professional venture of your own.

Carlee Myers

Carlee is an expert at helping professionals who are no longer happy at work find their joy. She has a Bachelors of Fine Art where she studied and wrote her thesis on art making as a meditative practice, a practice she now uses to help her clients reduce stress and overwhelm in their careers. As the founder of Work You Love based out of Philadelphia, Carlee has helped hundreds people across the country remedy burnout using creative stress reduction techniques and build their dream career or business through her expertise as a career coach. 

 

Beth Lawrence

Beth made a name for herself in the hospitality industry, holding positions in sales, marketing, public relations and event planning for brands such as Dave & Buster's, Brûlée Catering, The Palm Restaurant and Snap Kitchen. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification in 2015 from the Convention Industry Council. Since starting her business, Beth has worked with clients in the hospitality, food and beverage, health and wellness, tech, and interior design industries to create unique campaigns, memorable events and media placements. All of the successes of her past endeavors are built on a foundation of connecting—people and brands with one another, event hosts with their guests, and companies with their customers and the communities they serve.


Cherise Wynne

Cherise (known as “Agent Lady”) is an experienced, top rated realtor at Coldwell Banker Preferred with a focus on Center City and surrounding areas. Cherise majored in biochemistry in college and started a job in the sciences after graduation. But after doing some investing in real estate, she decided it was time to follow her heart and take the next step to become a realtor. Cherise measures success in two ways: 1) helping home buyers cut through the noise and find a home that provides a great quality of life, and 2) helping home owners understand the fastest way to sell a home in Philadelphia and get the highest return on investment.


Cynthia St. Pierre

From early childhood, Cynthia has been drawn to storytelling. From street art to her coworker's crazy socks, she is inspired by the stories of everyday life and the messages that brands create, either intentional or accidental. She believes everyone has a story to share and many just need the platform and support to express it. As the Vice President of Marketing for MassMutual Greater Philadelphia, Cynthia shares the stories of MMGP advisors that are helping to change people's lives daily through financial health. Her team focuses on crafting authentic, unique, and personalized branding and programming that communicate the characteristics that make MMGP unique.


Dawn Angelique Roberts

Dawn is an energetic detail-oriented team player and an award-winning communications professional with over 20 years experience in journalism and public relations. She serves as a health and wellness advocate, media relations specialist, social media strategist, special events consultant, and travel professional.  She is committed to helping youth and adults live healthy, active lives. As the Director of Media Relations and Community Relations for Elite Access Running and endurance running coach for the American Cancer Society, DetermiNation program, Dawn runs and coaches beginning and experienced runners to make a difference in the fight against cancer. 


Deirdre Childress Hopkins

Deirdre is the Strategic Communications Manager for the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, where she is responsible for public relations, internal and external communications and supports marketing, advertising and sales efforts. She also serves as President Elect for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association. Deirdre is a former entertainment, city desk, sports and suburban editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where she supervised and edited award-winning reporters and freelancers. Deirdre served as the 2014 and 2015 Convention and Career Fair Program Chair for the National Association of Black Journalists. She was also on the 2016 Philadelphia Democratic National Convention’s Communications Working Group and was a member of the 2015 Communications and Marketing Committee for the World Meeting of Families and Papal Visit to Philadelphia.


Emilie Klenk

Emilie is the Manager of Marketing Operations at Montgomery McCracken, a regional law firm where see oversees the firm’s internal and external communications, media relations, social media and website, events, and marketing technology. She works with the Director of Marketing and Business Development to assist with all of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken in 2015, Emilie worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Fox Rothschild and Grant Thornton. Emilie serves on the board of the Legal Marketing Association in Philadelphia as the Future Leaders Chair. In this role, she coordinates programming and coaches members on professional development and leadership.

Hillary Rea

Hillary is the founder of Tell Me A Story (http://tellmeastory.info). She’s worked with individuals and companies across industries to communicate an authentic narrative through professional development workshops, public speaking training, and live storytelling events. She is an award-winning storyteller (NYC Moth StorySLAM winner, Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s Animated Stories, the Story Collider) and the host of Tell Me A Story’s long-running live show. Hillary is a 2016 Independence Foundation Fellow in the Arts and was a 2011 Artist-in-Residence for Elsewhere Artist Collaborative in Greensboro, NC. In addition to performing and running her own business, Hillary is an audio documentarian. She holds a certificate in Documentary Arts from Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies and is the producer/host of the podcast, Rashomon (http://rashomonpodcast.com).
